Businesses based in Brighton are invited to submit up to three entries.

Deadline for entries is Thursday 10th May 2018 and there is a small charge of £50.00 per entry which covers administration costs and deters inappropriate entries.
This Award recognises those companies who are doing the most to develop initiatives which give something back to the community. It is not intended for community organisations who already undertake community action but rather those commercial organisations who have identified initiatives’ which are beyond their business objectives.
Each year a special award is made to an organisation who has made the greatest contribution to a Brighton & Hove charity. Entrants must demonstrate outstanding achievement, innovative fundraising ideas and achievement of its goals. This Award will be judged by the board of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
This Award aims to recognise promising new start-up businesses looking to make their mark on the sector in which they operate, illustrate fast-growth and have ambitious plans for the future. Entrants must have been trading for at least six months and for no longer than two years.
This Award will be made to the business most successfully demonstrating a dedicated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service regardless of sector.
This Award is open to employers of any size or type in Brighton & Hove who have achieved excellence in providing an environment where employees can develop their full potential, achieve outstanding success for the business and personally thrive.
This Award is open to any business based in, or conducting the majority of its overseas business from, an operational base in Brighton & Hove. The company should demonstrate healthy import/export activity and good trading relationship with any country outside of the UK.
This Award recognises an independent retailer who offers an individual, innovative and exemplary customer service experience. The business is greatly loved and supported by local shoppers and provides the City with an element of quality and uniqueness that is worthy of special recognition.
From accountants and actuaries to business consultants, recruiters, law firms and marketeers, the judges are looking for companies which work within the professional service sector. Entrants must demonstrate excellence in business management under-pinned by a strong financial performance and adherence to a professional code of conduct.
This Award will be made for outstanding achievement by a businessperson who is contributing to the success of a business based in the City. Nominations for this award can be from the entrant themselves of a third party can nominate.
This Award is open to businesses with an annual turnover between £500,000 and £10 million which are at least three years old and have an operational base in Brighton & Hove. This company should demonstrate a healthy financial performance and a strategic plan for growth.
This Award recognises the company that has truly achieved all-round business excellence in terms of year on year financial performance, strategic direction, employee relations, CSR, innovation and a first-class service and/or product offering.
This award will be presented to an individual who has made the greatest contribution to Brighton & Hove. This award is not directly entered but chosen by the judges.
This Award will be made to the business best demonstrating outstanding innovation either by developing a new product or by introducing a new process or system to an existing business. The Award is open to any business based in, or conducting the majority of its business from, the City.
This Award is to celebrate all that is great about our local food and drink industry. Judges will be looking for a destination which creates an outstanding dining experience and provides an excellent level of customer service. From restaurants to hotels, pubs to cocktail bars, this category is open to a destination with passion to grow, source and provide local produce.
This award will be made to the company that has created a business which is focused on supporting the green economy as well as helping the City, and in turn our Planet, to become more sustainable. It is open to all types of businesses from commercial, to community interest and the voluntary sector.
This award recognises a Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce member who has been actively engaged with the local business community. The business should demonstrate a dedicated commitment to their team and delivering outstanding service and a strong plan for sustainable performance.
